I met Dr.Joseph (9/19) just prior to my very unexpected EMERGENCY surgery at Ascension Rochester. She has a very kind gentle smile, calming voice and amazing personality! (“bedside manner”) She reassured both myself and my mom that I was in good hands and that she was going to find the problem and take good care of me. Indeed she did, I am fully recovered and I forever grateful that she was my surgeon! I only wish she could be my primary care physician! Everyone that I came in contact with at the hospital simply thinks the world of her, as do I. In addition , I cannot forget to mention her fabulous staff!! They (specifically Takiva) were quick to help with any of my questions and needs without any hesitation and always patient and kind. **Every physicians office needs a staff like these ladies.** Forever grateful to all!! Thank you again Dr. Joseph

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
