Patient Reviews
Jan 05, 2024
Dr. Fincher is a skillful surgeon specializing in reconstructive surgery for skin cancer. Over the past 15 years he has treated me with the Mohs technique for numerous basal cell and squamous cell skin cancers. In early 2017 he excised numerous basal cell carcinomas scattered across my face and neck overlying vulnerable nerves and blood vessels. The process took hours to clear the margins of all the excisions. His colleague, Dr. Jennifer Hermann, repaired my face and neck so skillfully that later my dermatologist had difficulty seeing the surgery site. Dr. Fincher went the additional step to refer me to a radiation oncologist at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. I underwent six weeks of radiation oncology there to prevent a reoccurrence of the cancer in such a delicate site. Recently Dr. Fincher excised a deep and extensive basal cell carcinoma from my elbow, requiring stitches over the joint. A month later the wound had closed and the faint scar was almost invisible.
