This review is long overdue. A couple of years ago, due to a fall, I experienced pure agony in my shoulder and bicep area. After an office visit with Dr. Trofa, I was given a referral for an MRI exam. Upon receiving the results of my exam, Dr. Trofa approached a very delicate situation with tenderness and care. He advised me to have surgery to repair the injuries. However, since I was adamant about not having surgery, he suggested other options. Actually I requested hot water therapy, but ever since the pandemic, I quickly realized that all hydrotherapy pools in my county were no longer available. Thank God, as a viable option, even though Dr. Trofa knew that I desired hydrotherapy, he advised me to have a cortizone injection, and then agreed to give me a script for physical therapy rehab. Needless to say, I was beyond appreciative, and informed him that I was determined to use discipline with my exercises in rehab and also at home. I am happy to say that the decision was the best!
