I have seen Dr. Coon since I was ~ 7 yrs old until I graduated from Ole Miss.. I am now pushing 30 and was hoping to return to Oxford for him to be my husband's new PCP. We've had a terrible time finding a trustworthy PCP in Memphis metro area. Dr. Coon is now at Ole Miss student health center. Wish we were faculty/students so we could continue to see him! I have no idea who to turn to now.. There was always a 45+ min wait to see Dr. Coon, but it was worth it. He has excellent bedside manners. He was always kind - felt like a friend to my mom and me! Very knowledgable, answered all questions thoroughly, and I never felt like he was rushing to the next patient. He doesn't bull$h!t you. He never ordered unnecessary tests like some doctors do for extra ins $. If we asked him for a specific test or referral, he was happy to provide whatever. Dr. Coon - if you're reading this, thank you for your time and service. I compare every doctor to you. You are missed. From: Samantha's daughter
