How likely are you to recommend Dr. Cannom Jr?
I went to several doctors in OC beginning in my late 20's when I started experiencing a racing heart and palpitations on a regular basis, to the point of being debilitating. Invariably, the doctors told me to "relax" and one even told me all I needed was "a nice romantic vacation" with my husband (wink wink). I was very frustrated, not to mention humiliated, that they thought it was "all in my pretty little head" (yes, one said that). Luckily I did not listen to them but did my homework and one cardiologist said his mother went to Dr. Cannom in LA, at Good Sam Hospital. It was long way to go, but I am SO glad I made that drive. Dr. Cannom listened to me, said he did not think it was in my head, scheduled some tests (EPS), and diagnosed my condition. He considered ablation therapy, but I was not a good candidate because I could be treated with medication. Long story short, I so appreciated Dr Cannom's knowledge, experience, and understanding. I only wish they could clone him!
