Patient Reviews

Dr. K is very empathetic but he’ll tell you the firm truth & push you to make healthy changes that create positive & effective habits in an affirming, effective, & professional manner. He’ll push you to be more independent while still always giving you the support you need in a patient manner that shows he really cares. I don’t always agree w/him but he’s very knowledgeable & so I trust & respect him accepting that perhaps I don’t always know what’s best. I’m not the easiest patient but he still “puts up with me,” never rushes me, always gets me in for an appt. in a timely manner when I need it, & listens patiently while pushing me to see other perspectives & push thru life’s roadblocks in an effective, healthier, more independent manner. He’ll call you out if he feels you are rationalizing or acting in a manner that’s causing you to stay stuck & preventing you from growing/getting healthier but he does so in an empathetic manner that still allows you to have a voice & be heard.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
