Patient Reviews
Jul 20, 2023
Before I saw Dr. Dewald, I suffered years of unrelenting and worsening back pain. It got to the point where I could barely walk with the use of a walker, and I felt like there was so much pressure on my spine that it would collapse at any moment. After being recommended to Dr. Dewald, he ordered a X-ray and MRI that identified stress fractures in my vertebra. My surgery was just a little over a year ago, and I truly feel like I have been given a new lease on life! For the first time in years, I can use a walker to get into appointments and to ambulate short distances. I am getting stronger every day, and I can move with SO much less pain than before my surgery. On many days, I wake up feeling so good that I literally say "Thank you Dr. Dewald!" to myself. It is just such an incredible feeling for me to feel so good, and I believed for a long time that horrible, worsening back pain was just something I would have to deal with for the rest of my life. I don't, thanks to Dr. Dewald!
