How likely are you to recommend Dr. Bojrab?
I am a retired MD. I have been treated for depression and anxiety for over 25 years and have been under the care of Chris for over 5 years. He is probably the most knowledgeable, up to date psychiatrist that I have ever had. And he uses state-of-the-art approaches. For example, at my first visit he ordered a pharmacogenomic test because I was having all kinds of problems finding the right antidepressant and dose to keep my depression under control. This test evaluates your genomic alleles for drug metabolism (how fast or slow you clear specific drugs from your body) and critical transporters in the brain related to depression. The results were very revealing and explained the difficulties I was having. I was either a fast or slow metabolizer of all the antidepressants except one which he placed me on and things have been great since. He has a very engaging, pleasant personality and open to suggestions or concerns that I have to come up with the best treatment plan. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
