Patient Reviews
Apr 21, 2023
I was on vacation in the area when I started having some extreme pain and wound up in ER. After some tests Dr. Jennings told me I was having a diverticulitis attack and would need to stay in the hospital a few days until the infection was cleared up. Dr. Jennings was ready to send me home, when I explained that while my vital said I was okay, I was not feeling 'well' at all and something was very wrong. He listened, and while he may have thought things were probably okay, he went ahead and ordered another CT scan to ease my mind. Shortly after the scan Dr. Jennings came in and said I was right and within a couple hours I was in the OR where they had to completely clean my body cavity of infection and remove part of my colon, saving my life. I appreciated being listened to and having concerns and pain taken seriously. While I don't live in the area, I will be returning to see Dr. Jennings for all my follow-ups, and I would recommend him if you live in the St. George, Utah area.
