Dr. Schweitzer has been a big part of my personal and health journey. It’s rare to find a doctor as welcoming and kind as her. I quite literally grew in her eyes until I ultimately aged out of the practice. I think it says a lot when you have tears leaving a practice and doctor who cared for you from a young age. I remember my mom being impressed with the way she handled medical care when she was first new to the practice. Dr. Schweitzer isn’t afraid to ask questions, but more importantly she cares about who you are as a person. I was unfortunately diagnosed with a pediatric cancer a few years ago and it was overwhelming to see how she was with my family and I every step of the way, often checking in to see how I was doing. You don’t just get a doctor from Dr. Schweitzer, but you get someone who supports you in every step of your journey. I was always impressed with the patience and time Dr. Schweitzer gave to her patients and I know that anyone who decides to see her will be in one of
