Last year my hiatal hernia started acting up to the point where I had great difficult swallowing. Food seemed to get stuck, it was painful. Family doctor recommended a specialist who ordered several tests then decided a surgeon was required and he recommended Dr Kurian. Surgery was required. The hiatal hennia was large and the stomach wandered above the diaphragm. That surgery was done in February, 2021. Stomach moved to where it should be and the hernia repaired. Since then I have not had any problems at all. No pain, no swallowing issues. It all works. I am still amazed about the surgery process. Dr Kurian listens, is caring and an excellent surgeon. I recommend Dr. Kurian along with my family doctor and the recommended gastroenterology specialist.
