Patient Reviews
Feb 08, 2023
My husband had emergency surgery at LakePointe Hospital and Dr. Egan was the surgeon on call. The head of ICU introduced himself to me and when asked if my husband would make it he said, "I'll be honest. I think the probability is low." During my husband's time in ICU and acute care, three of Dr. Egan's co-workers separately mentioned, without any prompting, that my husband was extremely lucky to have Dr. Egan as his surgeon. He made it and is thriving 4 years later.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
