Patient Reviews

Dr. McVeigh is a treasur. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I'm writing this with dilated eyes because I had to get a review up asap. I came out of the exam positively glowing. I dread eye exams and let years go without them. I would try a doctor here or there but always found the experience so difficult (the doctor clearly impatient with my eye-exam phobias) that I would tend not to return. Only because of a vitreous attachment did I go in September to see Dr. McVeigh and it honestly changed my life. Today (two months later) I went in for an annual full exam with almost no anxiety, and nothing close to feeling like I would faint (a huge step up from previous eye exams). Dr. McVeigh is from another era. No rushing at all; she is gentle, kind, caring, compassionate, and thorough. I'm not exaggerating when I say I am looking forward to my next appointment!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
