Update Post Op! I owe my life to Dr. Gurmendi. After 9 months of nausea, vomiting, severe constipation, severe bloating and severe upper left quadrant pain due to another surgeons negligence, it’s all over. I was in the ER on a weekly to bi-weekly basis from being so sick. He is the only surgeon who listened to me and who actually cared. I can’t thank him enough, and Alamogordo is very lucky to have him. He is a remarkable surgeon who deserves 100 stars. I dropped some tears when he came in to check on me post op. Although I am still in the normal post surgical pain part of recovery, I have never been happier. I smiled for the first time in 9 months 18 hours post op. I can’t thank you enough Dr. Gurmendi! Don’t ever leave this town!

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
