How likely are you to recommend Dr. Port?
Dr. Port saved my eyesight. I came to him in June 2023 with what I was told from my optometrist was a possible retina tear. It turned out my situation was much worse. I had multiple retina detachments in my left eye, and Dr. Port fast-tracked me to surgery the next day. During surgery, he provided a calm and confident demeanor that made me felt at ease. His hands were steady, in fact, rock solid. He had strong command of the operating room, and he gave clear and precise directions. Yes, I was awake during the surgery. The vitrectomy and re-attachments of my retinas took over an hour, and I had a huge gas bubble injected into my eye. --- addendum May 9, 2024 Dr. Port continued proactive surgery using photocoagulation to prevent detachments in my right eye. It was a good thing, because I had retina tears but there wer no detachments thanks to the barriers. I am now recovering - hopefully this is the end.Thank you, Dr. Port. I am so glad you're my surgeon! God Bless.Dat Ngo, Ph.D.
