a 40 years ago my GP took some blood tests to see what was happening with my stomach . he was off the next day and that night it got so bad we called the covering doctor but he wouldn't see us told us to go to the hospital so we went to the ER they took all sorts of tests including x-rays the covering doctor would not come to the ER the doctor that was in charge of the ER that night said I had gastric . the next morning as soon as my doctor heard he came to the hospital immediatel looked at the same x-rays and ran up to the OR and brought down Dr Melmen that was my first encount with Dr Melman my colon had burst I had purtenidis and total kidney frailer over 8 hours later he came out and told my family that if I made it through the night I would then have a 50% chance of making it that man saved my life that night . and has given me excellent care since . not only is this man a brilliant Doctor but he is a beautiful human being . Thank You
