How likely are you to recommend Donald Kinner?
I have recommended Don to ALL my family and friends and often pay for at least the first session because Don's approach works(ed) for me! I trust my loved ones and friends with him, unlike other counselors I've seen. And many MANY of them have taken me up on seeing him. With that said, you have to find the right counselor for YOU. What works for me, may not work for you. But don't give up! Don's approach is a biblical/Christian approach, which I appreciate, wanted, and needed. He does not force it on anyone though. He always respectfully asks IF he may pray for me/you. He's gentle, thorough, and I highly recommend him. What I love most about him is that I can walk away with TOOLS (guidance or handouts) to apply and/or work on in my life whether personal, professional, and/or academic.
