Ann has been turning things around like I never would have expected. I saw her the day of making my first appointment, at a time that actually worked for me (her scheduling continues to be unbelievably accessible). She is approachable, devoted, and flexible -- she is the first doctor to treat me like a full person. Off the bat we built a plan to move forward: referrals; scripts; a real, attainable care plan; how to care for myself in my fight for care. She offered me my first tentative Dx of complex fibromyalgia. She actually understands the patient experience of frustration and rejection, and she is immensely skilled in building a care plan that's actually possible for patients. Final anecdote: I was panicking to the point of throwing up before our first remote visit. We got on call, and as she listened to me, lent me her empathy, and confidently built a plan for me, I felt my body relax and found myself laughing with her. I realized I found that physician I'd been looking for.
