Alyssa Bussell Melman is the first practitioner who helped me eliminate the number of migraines I suffer from monthly, not just treat them as they occur. She takes the time to listen and discuss options. Thanks to her, instead of about 9 migraine days per month, I am down to possibly one per month, sometimes not even that. Also, unrelated to migraine treatment, she helped me with the issue I had been having for several years of a burning tongue, which happened after oral surgery. I had this pain 24/7 and as it turns out, was caused by nerve damage from the surgery. No other doctor had any idea what was causing it. One oral surgeon I saw just told me it was just dry mouth, and to drink more water and suck on hard candy. But thanks to Alyssa, I finally have relief from migraines and no more burning tongue.
