A multimillion-dollar partnership program, Platinum Partner Program, or 'P3,' secures $4.5 million in support of AVMA programs and services over the next four years. Premier P3 partners include Fort Dodge Animal Health, Hill's Pet Nutrition and Merial. Each company has pledged $380,000 to the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) each year over the next four years. In return, the AVMA will recognize P3 partners through promotional efforts in the JAVMA, AJVR, AVMA Web site, the Association's annual convention, and other AVMA events.

"We are delighted that our P3 associates recognize the value of partnering with the AVMA," said Dr. Ron DeHaven, AVMA executive vice president and chief executive officer. "Because of their support, we are able to provide top-notch continuing education, enhance our overall convention experience, and promote the goals of the Association. We truly appreciate their ongoing investment in the future of our profession."

P3 partners will receive a broad range of benefits from the Association including advertorials in the JAVMA highlighting the companies' contributions to veterinary medicine. "The AVMA Platinum Partner Program recognizes companies within veterinary medicine that are willing to partner across a broad spectrum of opportunities to benefit AVMA members," said David Little, director of AVMA Convention and Meeting Planning Division.
